Even when you are ill, you have rights. Here you can read what your employer does and does not get to know, and what you can do if you disagree with something.

Your health is yours
Your employer only hears what is needed for your reintegration: what you can and cannot do, and roughly how long it will take. Your diagnosis and other medical information stay with the company doctor (bedrijfsarts), or with someone who works under the doctor's responsibility.

Medical details stay privateYour employer only hears what you can and cannot do, never your diagnosis. Medical information stays with the company doctor.
Second opinionDo you disagree with the company doctor? You can ask for a second opinion from another company doctor.
Expert opinion by UWVDo you and your employer disagree about your reintegration? Then UWV, the Dutch Employee Insurance Agency, can give an independent opinion (deskundigenoordeel).

Send your request to info@react2u.nl. We reply within four weeks.
