Absence Case Manager

You make sure employer, employee and occupational physician take the right steps on time. You know your clients personally and are their regular point of contact. We make sure your caseload fits your hours, so you can support every file properly.

• You pick up sickness reports and are in touch with employee and employer within a few days
• You draw up an action plan with them and evaluate it at least every 6 weeks
• You monitor the deadlines of the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter)
• You keep the file up to date so it is ready for UWV
• You coordinate the second track if return to the employee's own job does not work out
• You advise employers on absence in their organisation

You work with the other case managers, a regular occupational physician and the planners. For complex files you bring in a labour expert, reintegration coach or occupational psychologist.

• You have your own clients and know them personally
• An occupational physician you can actually reach when you need one
• You see the result of your work directly when someone gets back to work
